Office Survival Mode: L:y’s Yellow Shirt Energy
The office was alive with the usual sound of keyboards tapping, phones ringing, and people pretending they understood every email they opened. But in one corner of the room, something very different was happening.
L:y was at her desk.
Wearing a light yellow shirt that looked brighter than the entire Monday mood combined, and with her long flowing hair casually draped like she had just stepped out of a slow-motion commercial, she was clearly operating on a different frequency than everyone else.
Technically Working… Emotionally Not
Her laptop was open. Technically.
But her attention? Absolutely not.
Instead of typing reports or answering messages, L:y had entered what could only be described as her “office survival mode.”
One hand rested on her bottled water like it was a luxury accessory. The other occasionally hovered near the keyboard… but only for decoration purposes.
She took a sip of water, paused dramatically, and nodded like she had just completed a very important task.
The Invisible Office Camera
Then she looked at the camera.
Yes. The invisible office camera that everyone feels but no one admits exists.
With a playful smile, she leaned back in her chair, completely ignoring the stack of “urgent” work pretending to be important on her screen.
Papers? Emails? Deadlines? Not today.
She twirled a strand of her long hair absentmindedly, like she was starring in a slow-paced office drama where productivity was optional and vibes were mandatory.
Silent Reactions
A coworker passed by and gave a confused glance. L:y simply responded with a calm sip of water and a peaceful expression that said, “I am here physically, but spiritually I am on break.”
The Grand Finale
And then came the grand finale.
She turned slightly toward the imaginary audience, raised her hand, and threw a small kiss into the air light, playful, and completely unbothered by workplace seriousness.
“Bye,” she mouthed softly, as if ending a live stream no one subscribed to but everyone somehow enjoyed.
Then she smiled, leaned back again, and returned to her peaceful state of doing absolutely nothing important… with maximum style.
